Photograph it before you throw it away
Liked the product and want to buy it again? Photograph the packaging before it goes in the bin. Everything you need is already printed on it: size, model, code, brand or marking.
A photo is faster and safer
Photographing is quicker than copying out a model, a code or a size by hand. And you get more than the exact values: you see what the packaging or the thing itself looks like.
In the shop that pays off. Open the photo, look, and the right product is much easier to spot on the shelf.
Talking is faster than typing
A photo or a typed note is not always practical. Sometimes it is easier to say it: where the product was, why you picked this one, what the assistant recommended, what to watch out for next time.
Add a voice note straight to the card, which helps most when your hands are full or typing is simply awkward.
